Kaboom Studio Orchestra Welcomes Hosanna Carella as Grants and Development Director

Cleveland, OH — June 10, 2025

Kaboom Studio Orchestra has welcomed Hosanna Carella to its leadership team as Grants and Development Director, effective June 1.

Hosanna will lead fundraising and donor strategy with a focus on advancing Kaboom’s bold, production-driven work. She will oversee grant writing and reporting, cultivate new and existing supporters, and collaborate with leadership to build long-term sustainability.

Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Hosanna holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as a professional studies diploma in violin performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music. She is an alumna of the New World Symphony in Miami and has performed internationally at music festivals in Italy, the UK, France, and Bosnia. In addition to her work as a musician, Hosanna is a skilled digital content creator and manager, creative writer, and grant writer. She has written original pieces for musical premieres and interviewed Grammy Award-winning artists including Teddy Abrams, Jaime Laredo, and Dafnis Prieto.

She currently lives in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and enjoys reading, playing board and video games, gardening, and exploring new foods.

Her addition comes at a key moment in the organization’s growth. Kaboom Collective is now doing business as Kaboom Studio Orchestra, signaling a renewed commitment to the ensemble at the heart of its work and to a future defined by original productions, artistic collaboration, and real-world opportunities for musicians of all ages.
